Emily York
Who am I?
From graduating college in 3 years to traveling the country at a young age, I am driven towards any goal I put my mind to. I create opportunities for myself to achieve my dreams and hope to do this for others within my career. I am an extremely extroverted, positive, and creative person. I was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Oklahoma in 2015. I am a proud soon-to-be graduate of the University of Oklahoma.

My hobbies include hanging out with my cute dog Dolly, drinking plenty of cappuccinos, and writing in my journal at the end of each day.
Skills & Strengths
Throughout my time as a student at the University of Oklahoma, I did more than just make new friends. I actively participated in my courses, knowing these skills will be important to me in the future.

I gained many skills, these vary from improved writing and verbal communication skills (including public speaking), understanding of social media analytics, proficiency in graphic design and graphic design platforms, understanding of professional public relations publications, collaboration skills, and improved time management.
​
There are multiple skills I gained through my previous work experiences. With my multiple internships, I gained an even further understanding of social media and managing it in an attempt to grow audiences. I also gained an improved understanding of professional writing and interpersonal skills. I also have held jobs since I was 16. These greatly played into my success professionally today. These jobs helped to teach me true discipline when it comes to getting my work done and getting it done to exceed expectations. Having jobs since such a young age gained me unique skills as well, for example, they helped me to mature faster and proper prioritizing.
